Great post. I can’t help myself, however, regarding the incorrect use of “you’re”.
“You’re” is a shortened version of “you are”, “your” refers to something belonging to “you”.

In the post, you have an incorrect usage:
“If you can find it on you’re own”

and a correct usage:
“because you’re going to need that coach around”

Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your material. My intent is to be helpful, not critical.

I would be interested in talking about some of the beginning stages of the mental game progression. Also the stages I went through to where I am at now and how I use the mental game and use it in my real life on a daily basis. It could be some deep topics but I’m open in discussing those on the air because many people have similar issues they struggle with

I see the mental game in all things. Negative swing thoughts in golf are no different than negative judgments while writing, improvising while playing guitar, or contemplating what to with the hand one is dealt. The fear of making a mistake is what many times sabotages our instinctive spontaneity. Scoring a goal, sinking a shot, hitting a home run, these achievements are only made possible through great peace and clarity of mind focused on a single thought, success. But the question remains, how can we consistently achieve the results we desire? How can we win more times than not? Practice.

They do, and I think for a lot of people, writing goals down is still a good idea. But, there are other people who are demotivated by writing goals down and talking to other people about them. It’s important to present both sides, there’s no one magic solution for everyone – we’re too diverse.

I have always thought the self-help guru’s like Napoleon Hill (Think And Grow Rich) espoused exactly the opposite when setting goals. At least, they suggested you write the goals down and share them with a network or group of “like-minded” folks whom you trusted and would be supportive.
