Session with James Atkin: Decreasing Laziness

About two months ago, Barry had me contact a friend of his in the UK who was looking for some help making SuperNova Elite. James Atkin is a guy who is really easy to like, and after talking with him briefly, I agreed to do some sessions with him.

Unfortunately, due to Black Friday, James’s run at SNE this year may not be practical, but there are a few mental game issues that we address – laziness being the big one. Shortly after the session, he wrote this blog, describing the session and the main things he took away from it.

James was good enough to let me share the recording of the sessions figuring that it may help you improve similar issues. They’re broken into four parts:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

I’m interested to know how valuable this session is for you. Let me know. I’ll do more if it helps.

I play with James quite a bit, and have put in 1/2 the volume he has – identifying some of the issues regarding motivation and how they affect him – when he seemingly works infinitely harder than I do, is relevant and useful – thanks!
